Ingredients for Paste -


  • Mint leaves - 10 - 12 fresh
  • Coriander leaves - 10 - 12
  • Fresh cream - 2 tablespoons

Ingredients for making marinade -


  • Boneless Chicken - 1 kg (washed and cleaned)
  • Garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger paste - 1/5 teaspoon
  • Gram flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Kasuri Methi - 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste

How to make Afghani Kabab Recipe

To make Afghani kebabs, grind the washed chicken into small pieces and keep it aside. Clean and wash the leaves of coriander and mint leaves, finely chop and mix them well in cream and keep them aside. Now mix gram flour, lemon juice, garam masala powder, kasoori methi, red chili powder and turmeric powder in a separate bowl and mix well. Then add whipped yogurt, ginger garlic paste, and mustard oil and mix it again. Now put salt on top and mix it.

Now add coriander and mint paste which you have set aside and mix it well. Now put it in the mixer jar and grind it finely and prepare the paste. Now take this paste out in a vessel. You can taste it and add ingredients as per it.

Mix the chicken pieces in this paste and wrap it well. Now keep this marinated chicken covered for two or three hours. then take sinks or skewers and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Heat the oven to 400 degrees free. Now put the chicken pieces in skewers and keep it in the oven. The oven must be preheated. Grill the chicken pieces for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Now your Afghani kebab is ready. Take it out on a serving plate and serve it hot in the dinner with your favorite chutney.
